Project Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored
to project requirements, ensuring alignment with project schedules, specifications,
and budgetary constraints.
• Supplier Identification and Evaluation: Identify potential suppliers for raw materials
(e.g., CR Sheet, MS Pipe, MS Angle, MS Plate, Nut bolt) and packaging consumables
(e.g., Stretch Film, BOPP Tapes, VCI), conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate
contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Material Planning and Forecasting: Collaborate with project managers, engineers,
and other stakeholders to forecast material requirements, plan procurement
schedules, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Cost Optimization: Analyze pricing trends, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and
negotiate pricing agreements to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality
standards.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for raw
materials and packaging consumables, conducting quality inspections and
implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels for raw materials and packaging
consumables, minimize stock outs, and reduce carrying costs through effective
inventory management practices.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate closely with project teams to understand material
requirements, provide procurement support, and address any material-related
issues or delays.
